Ms Jeanette Monaghan (RIP) – Surgery CLOSED – 12th July 2022

It is with great sadness that we advise of the untimely death of our beautiful Friend and Colleague Jeanette after a short illness bourne with bravery and valour. Jeanette had a smile that would light up reception like no one else and will be sadly missed by us all.
Our symphahies to her husband Declan and her beautiful boys Louis and Cathal along with her family and many, many friends. May she Rest in Peace.
As a mark of respect Clann Medical Practice will be closed on Tuesday 12th July all day to facilitate her funeral.

CLANN MEDICAL PRACTICE will be closed for a full day on Monday 16th August 2021 in order to facilitate the installation of Solar Panels by NRG which we hope will reduce the use of Fossils fuels in the running of the surgery and reduce our carbon footprint.

Covid vaccines complete @ Clann Medical Practice

Clann Medical Practice have completed the last of Dose 1 Covid Vaccines after 4 months of vaccines. We want to thank all of our patients for their co-operation over the last four months when we have managed over 2000 vaccines from 16years old to 93 years young!

For anyone who has missed out on the vaccines and is aged 16 and over there is a walk-in vaccine serviCe provided by HSE in DIFE (just around the corner) this weekend on :

Sunday 1st August from 13.15- 16.15
Monday 2nd August from 09.12-12.15 & 13.15 -16.15

Clann Medical Practice are delighted to have entered in to the last phase of the delivery of the Covid Vaccines to the Patients over 70 and those in the Very High Risk and High Risk Patients of Clann Medical Practice, Quay Medical Practice and Bru Medical Practice. we wish to thank all of the patients of Dr O’Neill, Dr Hanley and Dr Mulroy for their assistance in delivering more than 1500 Vaccines in the last few months.

Clann Medical Practice will be closed to non-Covid Vaccine patients on the morning of Wednesday 3rd March in order to facilitate Covid Vaccines to over 80’s.

There will be no entry to the building for Covid Safety reasons and the car park will be closed.

Clann Medical Practice welcomes Covid Vaccines

Wednesday 3rd March 2021 marks an important date when Clann Medical Practice will start to deliver the Covid vaccinations to those of our patients over 70 on a phased basis over the next 10 weeks. Starting with those > 85 years of age and then every 2 weeks after we plan to administer over 1000 vaccines to the 80-85, 75-80 & 70-75. The vaccine is delivered over 2 visits, 4 weeks apart. We will be also delivering the vaccine to patients of Dr Ruiari Hanley of Quay Medical and Dr John Mulroy of Bru Medical in Drogheda.

Clann Medical Practice wants to wish a fond farewell to Dr Sree Endulari and a big hello to Dr Rebecca Kealy who has joined the team at Clann Medical Practice. Dr Kealy was previously in practice in Trim and has moved to complete her training with Dr O’Neill at Clann Medical Practice. Why not call and say hello!

You will be given advice over the phone.

The newly renovated and modern pharmacy store, conveniently located beside our premises @Clann Medical Practice, will be open for business from Tuesday 3rd April 2018. Plenty of Customer parking on site.

Clann Medical Practice wish to thank Damien Campbell of CCI Construction, Tullyallen and his team for miraculous turnaround of their building from a dis-used warehouse to a modern purpose built Doctors Surgery in 9 weeks. We also acknowledge and thank Fintan Sullivan of Sullivan Properties. Lastly we are very appreciative of the patience and understanding of Oliver & Joan Murphy over the last few months while there peaceful ives has been turned upside down. Murphy’s TV has been a well known landmark in Drogheda for many people and now we hope to continue with the highest level of services albeit in a different field!

Despite the snow storm Clann Medical Practice opened it doors to it’s new State of the Art Medical Centre on Cross Lanes Drogheda on 1st March 2018. The new modern fully accessible premises consists of 5 consulting rooms and is fully accredited by the HSE meeting all current DAC and HIQA guidelines. Bright and airy reception areas along with design flair make it not a bad place to be sick!
